Important Days: Important days like Independence Day, Children’s Day, Teacher’s Day, Republic Day, etc. are also celebrated in the school in due manner.
Festivals: A festival is a tool to bring life to a state of excitement and enthusiasm. That is the significance and importance of festivals. In school we celebrate Eid, Diwali, Onam, Kannada Rajyotsava, Pongal, and Christmas with great pomp and show and are some of the Red Letter days in the calendar of the school.
The children depict the festivals with great enthusiasm. The significance of each festival is presented through a skit or a song. These special assemblies rekindled the spirit of brotherhood, compassion and harmony.
Special Assemblies: Our students are provided a platform, to discover their potential and experience life through special assemblies. The topics are based on subjects, cultures, morality, religion, famous personalities, sports and other important /current issues.
Keeping in mind the various interests of the children, each child is assigned a role which he/she executes to perfection.
Some of the special assemblies are World Environment Day, Yoga Day, History Day, Hindi Day, National Mathematics Day, Computer Science Day, National Sports Day, a Health Talk, Reading Day and many more.
A one of its kind, virtual Christmas Program was organised this year for the students of St. Patrick’s Academy. The program revolved around the theme of hope and captivated the audience with mesmerising performances by students and teachers alike. The distinguished chief guest for the event Fr. Therese Babu also offered a beautiful message of hope to all during these trying times. The program had a variety of Christmas carols, Skits and dance performances which brought out the Christmas spirit in the best way possible. Childhood is about innocence and kindness. It is all about joy and fun, with this rejuvenating thought in our minds, we celebrated Children’s with great enthusiasm and zeal. The Covid 19 pandemic couldn’t stop us from showering our love and blessings on our young Patricians. The teachers put up a great show and organized the Virtual Children’s Day Program for their dear students. It was a fun frolic celebration packed with melodious songs, humorous skit and entertaining dance performance by our teachers. We also witnessed the interviews of our respected Principal Rev.Bro. Paul, Vice Principal Rev. Bro.Kennedy and Manager Rev. Bro. Christopher wherein they shared the beautiful memories of their childhood and inspired the children by their motivating words.
St Patrick’s Academy Bengaluru organised its 11th Investiture Ceremony on 7th November, 2020. The honourable chief guest, Rev. Bro. Christopher Dawes graced the occasion with his august presence. A spirit of unity and dynamism filled the air as the grand ceremony commenced with a prayer song followed by the lighting of the lamp. It was a solemn occasion where all the young students were well prepared to don the mantle of leadership and responsibility with utmost dedication. The senior coordinator, Miss Lucy Jacob welcomed all the invited guests. She also motivated the students by saying, "Don’t let what you can’t do, stop you, from, what you can do."
