Special Events & Celebrations

Important Days: Important days like Independence Day, Children’s Day, Teacher’s Day, Republic Day, etc. are also celebrated in the school in due manner.

Festivals:  A festival is a tool to bring life to a state of excitement and enthusiasm. That is the significance and importance of festivals. In school we celebrate Eid, Diwali, Onam, Kannada Rajyotsava, Pongal, and Christmas with great pomp and show and are some of the Red Letter days in the calendar of the school.

The children depict the festivals with great enthusiasm. The significance of each festival is presented through a skit or a song. These special assemblies rekindled the spirit of brotherhood, compassion and harmony.

Special Assemblies: Our students are provided a platform, to discover their potential and experience life through special assemblies. The topics are based on subjects, cultures, morality, religion, famous personalities, sports and other important /current issues.

Keeping in mind the various interests of the children, each child is assigned a role which he/she executes to perfection.

Some of the special assemblies are World Environment Day, Yoga Day, History Day, Hindi Day, National Mathematics Day, Computer Science Day, National Sports Day, a Health Talk, Reading Day and many more.

Investiture Ceremony

Are leaders born or created? Well, some are born but all are created by the need of the day. Yes, leadership is a skill that needed to be honored. The leaders in the past who destroyed the mountains and lopped a way to uplift us to the present civilization are honored when the young leaders are appreciated. The investiture ceremony of St. Patrick's Academy kindled the aspirations of our young leaders to create a new world. The well decorated ceremonial hall was dignified with the presence of Rev. Brother Christopher Dawes, parents, teachers, and our honorable guest, Rev.Bro.George Xavier, Deputy Congregational Leader of Brothers of St. Patrick. Rev.Bro.Christopher administered the Oath of Office for the Senior School Head boy and Head Girl. The house Captains were sworn in and the Oath of their office was administered by the respective House Mistresses. Rev.Bro.George Xavier, inspired the young patrician leaders with his words of wisdom.

Teachers' Day Celebrations

“They inspire you, they entertain you, and you end up learning a ton even when you don't know it.”
A teacher is the eternal guru and guide, whose firm and loving grooming has shaped generations from time immemorial. To honour the hard work and determination towards the profession, the students of St. Patrick's Academy celebrated Teachers' Day virtually on 4th September 2021 with high spirits. The celebration began with a prayer song followed by a welcome dance by the little ones. The Principal, Rev. Bro.Tomy Varghese, shared an encouraging message on Teachers' Day. Students surprised their teachers by putting on a dazzling show with zestful dance, drama, song, etc. to symbolize their love, respect, acknowledgment and gratitude.
